Heating and cooling system – BÁRKA Szeged
The design and implementation of the heating and cooling system for the BÁRKA Szeged catering establishment was carried out using ducted air conditioning, meaning an air-to-air heat pump system. The ventilation solution provides a comfortable temperature in the guest area throughout the year in an energy-efficient way.
The placement of the system presented a special challenge, as the catering unit was created as a built-in space under a bridge, in a listed environment of significance to the townscape. During the implementation, we paid particular attention to creating a mechanical solution that fits into its surroundings, while preserving the architectural and townscape values.
